Congratulations to Mrs. Angelia Jackson for being Hollywood Elementary School's Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Jackson began her teaching career in 1999 at Hollywood Elementary School, where she has always called home, even as a young Hollywood Hornet. She currently teaches third grade students where she ignites passion and enthusiasm each and every day. The vision of our school is to empower students to be life-long learners who are Respectful, Organized, Cooperative, Knowledgeable, and Successful. The mission and vision radiates in everything she does, such as her interactions with students, parents, colleagues, and our school community. Jon Gordon, the author of the Energy Bus states, “Positive energy and positive people create positive results. There is certainly a lot of negativity in the world and choosing positive energy helps us deal with the negative people and negative situations that can knock us off course.” This quote resonates with everything Mrs. Jackson encompasses. She is always someone you can count on to bring positive energy each and every day! I will end with this thought… “Teachers make the world a better place” and Angie Jackson you most certainly help to make Hollywood Elementary School a better place for our students, parents, and staff.
