Mrs. Jennifer Thomas graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School in 1995. She graduated from North Greenville University in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Shortly after college graduation, she became employed by Saluda School District One, where she taught third grade at Saluda Elementary School for 7 years. In 2006, she taught third grade for two years at Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School in Winchester, Virginia. While residing in Virginia, she received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. In 2008, she moved back to Saluda District One, where she served as the Instructional Coach at Hollywood Elementary School from 2008-2016. Mrs. Thomas completed her Education Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision through Clemson University in May 2013. She served as HES’s Assistant Principal for three years and has been excited to serve Hollywood's students, teachers, and parents as the school's Principal, since the 2019-2020 school year. Mrs. Thomas believes that it is our responsibility to equip and inspire our students to achieve academic excellence, be responsible citizens, and make positive contributions to our community. Mrs. Thomas truly loves being a part of the Hollywood Elementary School family and calling #ONESALUDA her home.

Kelly Morse
Mrs. Kelly Morse graduated from Lander University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In the fall of 2006, she began her teaching career at Hollywood Elementary School, teaching 5th grade science and social studies. In 2011, she earned National Boards Certification, and in 2018, she earned a Master's Degree in Leadership and Administration from the University of South Carolina. During this time, she had the opportunity to teach both 4th and 5th grades at Hollywood, bringing her total years of classroom experience to 15 years. She served as Hollywood's Reading Coach from 2021-2024, and is now serving Hollywood in the Assistant Principal capacity. Mrs. Morse truly believes that success breeds success and is so excited to have a role in building an environment and experiences where Hollywood's students can be successful in all aspects of learning. Mrs. Morse believes that there is no better place to be than in Saluda County School District, and counts HES's students, teachers/staff, and community as family!
