Hollywood’s Spirit Rock
WHAT IS THE SPIRIT ROCK?
The spirit rock is an exciting way to celebrate birthdays, accomplishments, celebrations, well wishes, congratulatory messages, upcoming school events, or inspiring messages.
The spirit rock is a fun way to spread any kind of positive message. Please note any use of profanity, symbols, offensive and political messages are not permitted.
Painting the rock is one of the many traditions that people can participate in with their friends and family.
RESERVE THE SPIRIT ROCK
Reservations are first come, first serve basis. Please call the front office at 864-445-8333 to reserve your spot.
The cost is $20.00 per day and can be rented for no more than two consecutive days at a time. Please note if no one reserves the time after your reservation, your painting could remain up longer than two days.
In order to confirm your reservation, a cash payment or check made out to HES must be given to the front office, or sent in an envelope to school with your child, within 24 hours of the reservation and must be paid before the spirit rock can be painted. If the payment is not received within 24 hours of the initial reservation, your name will be removed, so others can reserve that date.
You may begin painting the spirit rock at 4:00 PM on the day BEFORE your reserved date or before 8:00 a.m. on the morning of your reserved day. Your session will expire at 3:59 PM the day of your reservation, to ensure anyone scheduled the next day has time to paint.
The renter is responsible for providing supplies and painting the rock. Reservations must be made to paint the spirit rock.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The spirit rock may NOT be painted during school hours.
Hollywood Elementary School is not responsible for missed or forgotten reservations. No refunds will be given once your date is paid and confirmed. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
The family or group painting the rock assumes liability for any individual or member of the group who incurs clothing or other personal property damage or school property damages.
School administrators reserve the right to and will exercise such right to make judgements on the status of the spirit rock. Any painting that is deemed to be inappropriate will be removed/repainted.
You are responsible for providing all paint, paint brushes, materials and ensuring the area around the spirit rock remains clean, free of trash and debris. Please make sure to ONLY paint the rock and protect the grass.
Spray paint or acrylic paint works best. Please do not use any materials that will leave a sticky residue or are not easily painted over for the next individual. This includes puffy paint, glitter, glue, stickers, tape, adhesive, or vinyl material.
Please note, paintings may stay on the spirit rock longer than the reserved time, if no reservations follow the date.

¿QUÉ ES LA ROCA DEL ESPÍRITU?
La Roca del Espíritu es una manera emocionante de celebrar cumpleaños, logros, ocasiones especiales, buenos deseos, mensajes de felicitación, próximos eventos escolares o mensajes inspiradores.
Es una forma divertida de compartir cualquier mensaje positivo. Tenga en cuenta que no se permite el uso de lenguaje inapropiado, símbolos, mensajes ofensivos o políticos.
Pintar la parte frontal de la roca es una de las muchas tradiciones en las que las personas pueden participar con sus amigos y familiares.
RESERVA DE LA ROCA DEL ESPÍRITU
Las reservaciones se hacen por orden de llegada. Llame a la oficina principal al 864-445-8333 para reservar su espacio. El costo es de $20.00 por día, y puede rentarse por un máximo de dos días consecutivos.
Tenga en cuenta que, si nadie reserva después de su fecha, su pintura podría permanecer más de dos días.
Para confirmar su reservación, debe entregar el pago en efectivo o un cheque a nombre de HES en la oficina principal, o enviarlo en un sobre con su hijo dentro de las 24 horas posteriores a la reservación.
El pago debe realizarse antes de pintar la roca. Si no se recibe el pago dentro de 24 horas, su nombre será eliminado para que otros puedan reservar esa fecha.
Puede comenzar a pintar la Roca del Espíritu a las 4:00 p.m. del día anterior a su fecha reservada o antes de las 8:00 a.m. del día reservado. Su sesión expirará a las 3:59 p.m. del día de su reservación, para permitir que la próxima persona tenga tiempo de pintar.
El responsable de la reservación debe traer sus propios materiales y encargarse de pintar la roca. Se requiere reservación para poder pintar la Roca del Espíritu.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
No se puede pintar la Roca del Espíritu durante el horario escolar.
Solo se puede pintar la parte frontal de la roca que da hacia Hollywood Road.
La Escuela Primaria Hollywood no se hace responsable por reservaciones olvidadas o no utilizadas.
No se otorgarán reembolsos una vez que su fecha haya sido pagada y confirmada, ni por mal tiempo.
La familia o grupo que pinte la roca asume toda responsabilidad por daños a la ropa, propiedad personal o propiedad escolar.
La administración escolar se reserva el derecho de decidir sobre el estado de la roca. Cualquier pintura que se considere inapropiada será removida o repintada.
Usted es responsable de traer toda la pintura, brochas y materiales necesarios, y de mantener el área limpia y libre de basura. Asegúrese de pintar únicamente la roca y proteger el césped.
Se recomienda usar pintura en aerosol o pintura acrílica.
No use materiales que dejen residuos pegajosos o que sean difíciles de cubrir, como pintura inflable, brillantina, pegamento, calcomanías, cinta adhesiva o vinil.
Las pinturas pueden permanecer en la roca por más tiempo si no hay reservaciones posteriores.
